Cut Galia

The galia melon is a cross between a cantaloupe and honeydew melon. The round melon grows as a vine in warm climates, with a gold-green skin which appears 'netted'. When ripe the fruit is sweetly aromatic, along with a circular crack at the base and this indicator should be used rather than colour. The green-cream flesh encloses many seeds at the centre.
