Dried Apples

Apples are peeled, cored and usually sliced before drying, usually into rings. If used for cooking they can be rehydrated, but are a popular snack as well. Additives are sometimes used to help prevent the pieces turning brown. Ripe's dried apples are sold in chewy rings.
